The Return of the BLOG

We are back, so spread the word if ur friends miss meetings they can check for updales here. If you missed last nights meeting, that of the 13th of November. Because of Art Honor society or for any other reason. Here is the most important of information.

-Caroling- On December 23 we will have our third annual caroling/Nicaragua fund raiser. Students will carol and collect donations in downtown Northport in this event, you don’t have to great or even good at singing to come! Meet at the monument in front of the presbyterian church at 7 pm on 12/23 map.

-Also on December 23rd there will be a cities and PS 49 trip. I think those who will go have been picked, speak to a chair to get field-trip-card or find out if you are going, chairs are (Lauren Pav, Shelter)(Libby Smith, PS 49)

-Indian Reservation-If you are interested in helping out with the Indian Reservation project there will be a meeting tomorrow Wednesday after school in the cities room?

-Tootsie Rolls- This weekend the 16, 17, 18 and Friday the 23rdif you need to sign up, and I would encourage all to do so, talk to Aarti or an advisor ASAP, there are still many spots available. This holiday tootsie roll can be a big fundraiesr, but only with your help.

-Special Gift- It is the holiday season so if you need to give gifts and want to donate to SF60K as a gift, you can get pamphlets outside the students office. Or you can give the pamphlets to relatives to get you as a gift, instead of a sweater thats too big.

-Fassion Show- This idea which is in the concept stage could be big, there is a meeting for all who are interested on Tuesday the 20th at 6pm before the regular students meeting.

-Nicaragua- The parents meeting has been switched to next Wednesday the 21st it is not Wednesday the 14th, but it is still at 7pm in the library. Also the first Nicaragua meeting will be next week after the regular students meeting on Tuesday. You will receive a call this weekend informing you if you made the Nicaragua trip.

Ok thats about it, so do something on the 23rd as there is a lot to do. Get involved and see you next week.
